GDPR Privacy Notice

At Reiki with Merlin I take the confidentiality of my clients extremely seriously. This page explains how i comply with the General Data Protection Regulation regarding what data i hold and how and why i store, process and dispose of it.

WHAT DATA DO I HOLD?

.No data except contact details are held electronically.

• Clients’ personal details such as name, address, date of birth.

• Contact details for next of kin, GP, such as name, address, phone number and email address.

• Clients’ private therapeutic notes, background information and assessments.

WHY DO I HOLD IT?

I use the above information ONLY in relation to the specific therapies that have been requested and the administration of the delivery of those therapies. 

DO I SHARE YOUR DETAILS?

I will never share any of your personal details with any third party unless legally obliged to do so and then only with your consent.

HOW DO I STORE YOUR DETAILS?

I store all client details in a locked filing cabinet.

YOUR CONSENT FOR ME TO HOLD YOUR DATA

All data pertaining to the client is held and processed with the consent of the client. You have the right to withdraw that consent by contacting Reiki with Merlin.

YOUR RIGHTS

Reiki with Merlin holds and processes personal details relating to a client’s therapies only as specified above in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

All the above complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you think there is an error or you wish to exercise your rights to withdraw consent or make a complaint, please get in touch.
